Data Deletion & Export Requests
Last updated: 2026-05-18
What you can request
You can ask Meurneoba to:
- Export the operational data we hold for your village in a machine-readable format.
- Delete a specific record, a user, or your entire village.
- Correct data that is inaccurate.
- Receive an audit of who has accessed what within your tenant boundary.
Requests are reviewed and actioned by the founder/operator on file for your village together with Meurneoba support. We will confirm by email before any deletion that affects shared records (work orders linked to multiple users, audit history, etc.).
How to send a request
The fastest path:
- If you are signed in — open a support ticket from /os/support with category
data_request. Describe what you want exported, deleted, or corrected. - If you are not signed in — visit /support and write to the support email shown there. Include the property name and the email address you registered with so we can locate the right village.
What we will not do automatically
To prevent accidental data loss, this request flow is an intake — not an instant self-service destructive action. The OS does not allow a user to one-click destroy an entire village. We will:
- verify the requester is authorised (founder, operator, or the data subject);
- confirm scope in writing;
- where possible, offer an export before a deletion runs;
- retain a minimal record of the request itself for audit.
What stays after deletion
Some traces are kept as legal or operational necessities even after deletion of the underlying records:
- audit-log entries referencing the deletion event itself;
- backup copies, until they roll off normal backup retention;
- aggregate counts already used in past briefings or predictions (the originals are removed, the aggregates may persist in derived outputs).
External systems
Meurneoba OS receives data from your PMS and POS via webhook contracts. A deletion in Meurneoba does not delete the underlying record in your PMS or POS. To remove a guest's data from your accounting and booking history, follow your PMS/POS provider's own deletion process.
Timelines
We acknowledge requests within five business days and aim to complete standard export/deletion requests within thirty days. Complex requests — particularly those spanning multiple linked records, backups, or external sub-processors — may take longer; we will communicate revised timelines in writing.
